Diwali  Celebrations

Diwali which is also known as Deepawali is the most famous festival of the year. Diwali is five days of festivity period which begins on Dhanteras and ends on Bhaiya Dooj. During five days of festivity various rituals are followed.

Saturday  November 3rd  – Ekadashi -  Deepawali Function Begins with Sri  Venkteshwara Abhishekam

10:30 AM  Venkteshwara  Abhishekam

11:15 AM  Vishnu Shasranama Stotram, Alankara Darshanam, Archana 

12:00 PM  Maha Mangal Aarati, Theertham and Prasad

 

Sunday  November  4th   – Dwadashi  - Dhanteras / Pardosh Vrat 

6:00 PM  Sankalpam, Ganapati Puja, Kalash and Sri Yantra Sthapana

7:00 PM  Dhana Lakshmi, Kuber, Shiva Puja and Archana 
7:30 PM  Maha Mangal Aarati, Theertham and Prasad

 


Monday  November  5th  – Thrayodashi - Kali Chaudas  / Hanuman Puja 

6:00 PM   Sri Yantra Puja and Maha Lakshmi Kumkum Archana, Hanuman Puja

6:30 PM   Shiva Rudra Abhishekam, Archana 

7:30 PM   Maha Mangal Aarati, Theertham and Prasad

 

Tuesday  November  6th  – Chaturdashi  - Lakshmi, Diwali & Chopda Puja

Wednesday  November  7th  - Amavasya - Govardhan Puja & Annakut

(56 Bhog. Devotees can bring any kind of sweet or Prasad to offer) 

6:00 PM    Govardhan Puja,  Sankalpam 
6:30 PM    Lakshmi Narayana Upchar Puja, Annakut Alankara Darshanam,  Bhajans, Archana 

7:30 PM    Maha Mangal Aarati, Theertham and Prasad

Saturday, November 10th  - Diwali Celebration, Fund Raising, Fireworks

6:00 PM   Sri Yantra / MahaLakshmi Puja  (Samuhik)

7:00 PM   Sangeeth (Dance & Singing  Seva by children)

7:15 PM   Temple Update

7:45 PM   Lakshmi & Sarva Devata Aarti  Followed by Theertham, Mahaprasad
8:00 PM   Fireworks  (Note:  Kids can participate in fireworks only with parent supervision)
